Do you use a vision board?
A wholesome day, spent with a friend, working on our own vision boards.

I love a vision board, but haven’t taken the time for myself to actually work on a new one, since moving into our house over a year ago.
Today is a date that I have been looking forward to for a good few weeks.
A mountain of magazines, scissors and glue…
So it began. After some breathwork to ground ourselves, and playing some background music to match the mood, we sat down at the dining room table to begin our cutting.
My process
This is purely my process, and it can vary greatly for others, but I tend to have a pile of magazines to my side, of various genres. Without thinking too much about it, I flick through the pages of the magazines and only stop when an image catches my eye or some words speak to me. I then take the whole page, rip it from the magazine, try not to overthink it, and set them aside for a time.
I continue this process until I have a substantial pile of rippings.
Nourishment necessary
Lunch was a triumph if I do say so myself. The homemade sourdough, which I started making yesterday, was freshly baked to accompany the homemade sweet potato and chorizo soup that I made this morning. The soup was warmed through and served with the warm bread, along with an M&S garlic butter.
Having eaten a wholesome lunch, the vision board research continued.
As soon as I felt my pile was large enough, it was time to stop ripping and revisit what I had torn out.
One by one, I went through the pages, neatly cutting around any words or images that were calling strongly to me.
Time was not on our side today.
Perhaps it is because I haven’t done a vision board for quite some time, or perhaps it is because we had a lot of talking to do throughout the day, but I haven’t completed my board.
I am satisfied that my collection of images and words is enough, but I haven’t had time to glue them down yet.
I did have time to spread them across the table to try to make some sense of what I had cut out.
Thoughts.
I will be able to go into more detail once I have glued the images down, but what I can say is that I am definitely on an exciting path that is FULL of creativity and adventure.
Today has been such a lovely day, because it has reaffirmed some thoughts that I had already had. It has also given me an excuse to get my camera out and take some photos for myself!
